Pleasant Oak Solutions is a small-business consultancy. We officially opened on February 18, 2025, backed by more than 15 years of hands-on experience in technology, small-business operations, and web design.
We started because small businesses kept getting sold the wrong AI tools — flashy demos that didn't fit how they actually work.
Our approach is the opposite of hype. We listen to what you do, study the landscape of AI software, and recommend the smallest, simplest combination that solves the problem. If you don't need AI yet, we'll tell you.

Meet Robb Pleasant
Robb Pleasant founded Pleasant Oak Solutions with a simple but powerful idea: technology should feel effortless.
Where it started
Long before AI became a business trend, Robb was drawn to the quiet power of technology — the way one well-built system, one thoughtful website, or one simple digital tool could completely change how people work.
At 14 years old, he began building websites with his friend Zack Robins — not because it was required, but because he was fascinated by what could be created from nothing more than curiosity, imagination, and a computer.
That curiosity became a career.
15 years in the trenches
Originally from Seattle and now based in San Diego, Robb spent more than 15 years building websites, leading teams, and managing complex projects — including experience with Amazon and Google.
Through leadership, project management, product management, and hands-on digital work, he developed a deep understanding of both sides of technology: what it can do, and why so many people still feel left behind by it.

Pleasant Oak Solutions was created for the business owner who does not have time to decode complexity. Robb saw that small businesses were being asked to do too much:

How does the AI recommendation process work?+
You complete a short intake covering your goal, monthly budget, and team's comfort with new software. We research the field and return a written recommendation with 2–3 specific tools, pricing, and a setup plan.
Do you build websites or only recommend AI tools?+
Both. Building websites for small businesses is one of our core specialties. Many clients pair a new site with one AI tool — a chatbot, a content engine, or a CRM — so everything works together.
