Is your domain name available?

Type the name you have in mind. We check the official registries in real time across the extensions small businesses actually use — no account, no email required.

Domain availability checker

Type just the name — we'll check .com, .net, .org and more. Results come straight from the domain registries.

Picking a name that works

  • Short beats clever. If you have to spell it over the phone, it's too long.
  • Skip hyphens and numbers. Customers forget them and type the competitor's site instead.
  • .com first. If it's gone, add your city or your service rather than misspelling the name.
  • Check the handle too. Matching the domain to your Instagram or Google Business name makes you easier to find.

Questions

How does the domain checker work?
We query the official registry records (RDAP) for each extension in real time. If a registry has no record for the name, it's available to register. If a registration exists, it's taken.
Does checking a name here put it at risk?
No. We don't store or share the names you check, and we don't register anything on your behalf without you asking. Nothing you type here is sold to a registrar.
Which extension should I pick?
For most local small businesses, .com is still the one customers type and trust. If your .com is gone, a clean .net or a name with your city or service in it usually beats an awkward spelling of the .com.
Can you register the domain and build the site for me?
Yes. We register the domain, connect it, and build and launch the site on it — you own the domain outright, and there's no separate hosting account for you to manage.
Why does a name sometimes come back as "couldn't check"?
Some registries rate-limit or briefly time out. We report that honestly instead of guessing, so you never register a name we told you was free when it wasn't. Try again in a moment.

Found the one?

We'll register it, build the site, and launch it for you — usually in under two weeks.
