- How does the domain checker work?
- We query the official registry records (RDAP) for each extension in real time. If a registry has no record for the name, it's available to register. If a registration exists, it's taken.
- Does checking a name here put it at risk?
- No. We don't store or share the names you check, and we don't register anything on your behalf without you asking. Nothing you type here is sold to a registrar.
- Which extension should I pick?
- For most local small businesses, .com is still the one customers type and trust. If your .com is gone, a clean .net or a name with your city or service in it usually beats an awkward spelling of the .com.
- Can you register the domain and build the site for me?

- Why does a name sometimes come back as "couldn't check"?
